You started a business because you didn’t want to have a job.
You wanted to do something that lit you up, made you happy, didn’t feel like a grind and allowed you to have an impact.
Instead, you’ve discovered that what you’ve created is a job that feels like the stressful job you got away from.
You can’t even blame your boss! The boss is now you!
This isn’t what you expected when you set out on your entrepreneurial journey.
Instead of making an impact, you’re stuck in a constant cycle of overwhelm, procrastination and perfectionism.
The mistake that so many entrepreneurs make is listening to someone else instead of themselves about what sort of business they should have.
When it comes to building a business that YOU want and love, you need to check in with one person first & foremost: YOU!
But if you’re like most entrepreneurs I know, you’re listening to everyone besides yourself tell you how to structure your business, what kind of business to build, what kind of clients to serve, what kind of product to offer and even if you should scale your business.
Your business doesn’t fit into a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter mold.
I’ve worked with business owners and entrepreneurs of all varieties. Individuals with PhDs, MDs, business degrees, other advanced degrees, certifications of all sorts, and professional experience all with one thing in common: they want to have their own business.
They’re go-getters. They change people’s lives. They want to have a huge impact.
The other thing they have in common?
They think the way out of perfectionism, overwhelm and procrastination is one more course, another coach, another degree, or more time to perfect their perfect offer.
So they chase the next cookie-cutter business mold without considering that they were never meant to fit into a mold in the first place.
Constantly chasing the next cookie cutter mold keeps them stuck in a cycle of overwhelm, procrastination, and perfectionism, holding them back from making decisions for themselves and instead looking to others to tell them what to do next.
Instead of searching for a cookie cutter approach, what you need is to build a business around YOUR personal strengths.
Remember how in your previous job you’d get frustrated by what was happening around you and you said to yourself, “This could be better if we just did it this way.” Or “They’re missing an opportunity by going that route instead.”
*You* wanted to make the impact.
You *knew* your ideas made money for your employer and you thought, “Why can’t I make that money for myself instead of my company?”
Now that you’re on your own, you need to *fully* understand how that unique way of thinking is your money-maker and how it changes people’s lives.
And you can’t look to someone else to figure this out.
You need to build a business suited to your strengths
You need a business strategy that’s consistent with your strengths.
You need a team that’s complimentary to your strengths.
You won’t find a magic business-building, cookie cutter mold that’ll help you out.
You need to look inward.
To appreciate your own point of view and how you help people, what you need is a level of self-awareness of how...
Your unique way of thinking creates value for you and for others.
Here’s the catch-22. When we go from having a boss to being the boss we think that we’ll just slide into that new role knowing how we change the world.
It doesn’t take long before the voices of overwhelm, procrastination, perfectionism and even imposter syndrome start showing up.
Maybe you blame your lack of progress on your “mind-set”.
It’s not your mind-set keeping you stuck in that never-ending cycle.
It's that your greatest strengths have gone rogue.
In other words, it’s your strengths holding you back in business.
You know that saying, “Your greatest strength is your greatest weakness”? It’s a cliche for a reason.
If you don’t know what your strengths are, how will you know when they’re holding you back?
You have to know your superpowers and how they apply to you and your business. Most people are great at knowing their weaknesses but very few know what they’re good at. They think they do, but they don’t.
You’re No Longer Alone!
It’s possible to get help from someone who can show you your strengths and how they show up in all aspects of your business.
That’s exactly what I do.
Introducing the Superpower Strengths Package: A two-hour 1:1 session that’ll have you confident, clear and excited to build the business and team of your dreams.
"It's an incredible opportunity to learn more about how you can serve people while being true to who you are."

So, who am I?
I’m a corporate-employee turned entrepreneur who spent years figuring out the business of my dreams.
Growing up, I wanted to be a fashion designer. I loved beautiful clothes and knew how to sew. My mom didn’t think I could make money in the fashion industry, so I went to college, got a job in financial services and in the evenings I took classes at a tiny fashion school to become a fashion designer.
For years, I moved my sewing machine and piles of fabric from one apartment to another. One year, I took a nine week leave of absence from my job as a project manager and got certified as a professional bra-maker. For a moment in time I had a lingerie business.
One day, I was working on a lingerie project for a client with a deadline and the phone rang. I was asked out for a cup of coffee and I dropped my sewing project like a hot potato.
Walking to the coffee shop, I wondered if I was pursuing the right business for me if I was willing to meet up with someone rather than work on my sewing goals.
That was the moment I started paying attention to the things I was good at naturally and not just a learned skill set, but it wasn’t until I had a coach that I truly figured it out.
Turns out, I love people. People were the constant throughout my life. I loved connecting with others and encouraging them in the pursuit of their dreams. I’d been coaching people all my life, but I didn’t know that that was my superpower.
And once I learned that, I stopped pursuing all the wrong-for-me-business ideas learned how to be a great coach (i.e. I got better at what I was already good at) and now get paid to do what I’m excellent at.
This is the meta part and how it relates to you.
You don’t need to spend years of your life and thousands of dollars like I did figuring it out on your own.
This is literally what I’m good at.
I’ve built my current business around what I’ve done all my life, but didn’t know I could make money at.
The thing you’re good at happens so fast that you’d have a hard time calling it a strength.
In fact, you probably assume that others can do what you do and maybe you get frustrated when they don’t do it nearly as well as you! That’s what I thought and so do most of my clients.
Rather than spending years of your life and tons of money experimenting in areas that won’t be the right fit, work with someone who can connect the dots and help you see that you are truly a unique individual.
I work with 6, 7 and 8 figure business owners so they can build profitable, fun businesses by helping them go from feeling disconnected and unproductive to clear and confident - where they’re working in their zone of genius and they know what’s contributing to the bottom line.
Through 1:1 coaching, I help them discover their superpowers and how those strengths blend well with other people’s superpowers - this is literally my superpower.
I’ve helped and mentored hundreds, and having earned my MBA and worked in the financial, retail and marketing industries for almost 20 years I’m now an ICF trained and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
I firmly believe that everyone has something of value to offer and that to succeed personally and professionally, everyone needs to learn their strengths - not just to realize how to use them, but how to express them everyday.
"The strengths session really gives you the AWARENESS of who you are, what you're good at, and how to apply it in life and in business. I highly recommend Anna as she is so insightful and really makes you understand HOW these strengths can show up and benefit you in your business."

How is this different from any of the other assessments I’ve taken?
A: I myself have results from the DiSC, MBTI and Enneagram. My favorite one of all time though has been the CliftonStrengths assessment. No assessment makes you feel as good about yourself as the CliftonStrengths nor do any of the other assessments give you such a robust shared language with which to describe yourself to you and to others.
There are over 60 years of research and science behind the strengths assessment and more than 33 million sets of talent themes. Literally you’re one in 33 million. No other assessment comes close to that which is why knowing what your strengths are is so important.
There’s only one of you.Let's Do This!
"You should definitely sign up for a strengths session because it will allow you to get to know yourself at the core and see how you can best show up in the world each day."
~ Misa Ledguies
If I’m already getting the report, why do I need coaching?
A: How many times have you sat with someone who told you all of the ways you can improve?
Maybe never, but my guess is you’ve had reviews that left you with a list of ways to improve and you were like, “Why didn’t they say anything good about what I do?”
The conversation that you wished you could have had with your boss? That’s what I do.
I’ve coached hundreds of individuals and seen them take huge action because of one conversation. This isn’t about “reviewing an assessment.” This is about connecting the dots and recognizing and appreciating that you are an individual like no other. Your business will be like no other.
You have no idea the impact you could make if you knew the value you provide with your unique way of operating.
I’ve built my own business around my superpowers. But I didn’t know how great they were until I had a conversation with a coach about my strengths.
After that conversation, I made some major changes in my life and am finally doing what I love, calling my own shots and making an impact one business owner at a time.
Assessments are tools. They give you language that you didn’t have before and they give you a common language that you and others can “speak” when it comes to sharing the different ways your strengths show up. Any assessment that helps you have greater self-awareness of yourself is beneficial.
But assessments only take you so far. It’s the combination of coach and assessment that’ll change your life.
Sort of like going to the doctor’s office, just because you get a print-out of your results doesn’t mean you know what your results mean. It’s the doctor who makes the difference by helping you understand how you got to where you are now and how to get to where you want to be.
I’m wired to be a coach and of the various coaching tools out there that can help me coach better, I love the CliftonStrengths assessment.Great, Let's Schedule This
Who is this right for?
Who is this wrong for?
Will this work for me if I’m already in business and making money?
Will this work for me if I’m just starting out?
What’s the refund policy?
Will this work for me if I have advanced degrees?
Before you go...
If you want your business to have a bigger impact in the world and if you’re tired of feeling like you’re working in your old stressful job, I’d love to connect.
Truly, you can have the business of your dreams, working with your ideal clients and living the life you want. But it must be built around how you’re uniquely wired and that can only come through a level of self-awareness that frankly, many business owners just don’t have.
Don’t let that be you.
I’d love the opportunity to work with you and how your unique strengths can help you build an amazing business that positively impacts those you work with everyday.
"Anna, It was such a lovely experience to have space held by you. You're a terrific listener. Your conversation style is so comforting, deliberate, and unhurried - so great!"
~ Maneesha Ahluwalia
